Using AWS Athena for querying Profiles (Quick Start)

Once you’ve managed to get access to Athena on AWS, you can navigate to the Query Editor to begin.

Primary Databases to use:

  • ‘onepipe-profiles’ : All enriched, formatted Profile data

  • ‘pdl-deliveries’ : Raw Profile data from vendor, lacks enrichment and formatting

Primary Tables to use:

  • Database: ‘onepipe-profiles’

    • enriched_onepipe_YYYY_(Sprint) - Enriched Profile data from raw source

    • formatted_onepipe_YYYY_(Sprint) - Formatted Profile data from enriched source

    • us_enriched_onepipe_YYYY_(Sprint) - US Enriched Profile data from raw source

    • us_formatted_onepipe_YYYY_(Sprint) - US Formatted Profile data from enriched source

  • Database: ‘pdl-deliveries’

    • Table Naming Format: YYYY_(Sprint)

    • Example: 2023_01_05

    • Use the latest version
