When looking at the apprenticeship overview, I want to view the profile of skills from the apprenticeship standards so that I can understand the labour market demand for the skills and identify the companies hiring for jobs requiring the skills.

Value to Customers & Users

• Enables them to quickly view the Lightcast skills profile for the apprenticeship standards

• Enables them to understand the regional labour market demand for the skills in each standard

• Enables them to identify gaps/over supply of skills relating to the apprenticeship standards in the regional labour market

• Provides reliable information on companies hiring for jobs requiring the skills

• Enables monitoring of trends in the regional labour market demand and supply of the skills for each apprenticeship standard

Value to Lightcast

• Enhances our use of apprenticeship data - linking it to Lightcast skills

• Provides a route to gain customers who are interested in selling and providing apprenticeships to customers

• Adds more value for our existing Further Education, Higher Education and Regional Government customers

• A first step to better integration and use of apprenticeship data in our reports
